The seasons are about to change as we say goodbye to Summer and prepare to welcome Autumn. With the changes is in the air we feel the urge to gather and prepare for what is coming. This is the time the summer harvests are at the peak and ready to be used or preserved for the Winter. This is also a time to show gratitude by sharing the abundance we have with others.

The September Full Moon is known by many names. The most common September Full Moon names are:

  • Harvest Moon (Not every year)
  • Corn Moon
  • Fall Moon
  • Autumn Moon
  • Singing Moon
  • Barely Moon

The Corn Moon is in the sign of Pisces, a water sign relating to emotions. This means your emotions will run strong combined with the high energy of the full moon. You will also feel a stronger intuition. This is a time to reflect and take care of your needs. This is not the time to make big decisions or fix the problems. Work on finding a balance this moon cycle.

The Month of September is in the sign of Virgo, organized and logical.  Creating a pull between Virgo and Pisces energy will create the urge for both hard work and dreaming. This could mean you are able to be very productive but catch yourself overthinking details. This is why balance is key, focus on creative aspects of your life.

This is a good time to reflect, gather and rest.  As Summer comes to an end use this time to put away and giveaway what is not serving you and make room for what Autumn brings. This is both physical and emotional baggage. In order to live in a place of joy we have to let the baggage go. It is the perfect time to appreciate your home and focus in on gratitude.
