The May full moon will forever hold a special place in my heart. See this is where I planted and grew the first seed. A little over a year ago now my best friend and I were discussing wanting a women’s circle near that we could be a part of but we could not find one that fit what we were searching for. The seed was born to create a space for women to put down their shield, to leave behind the roles they play in the world and feel safe to connect and grow individually and within a circle of other women. A short while later I hosted y first full moon women’s circle in May of 2022. So here I am a year later writing a blog and realizing this is the one year anniversary of this circle.

I am so proud of this group of women! The connection & growth is so beautiful to be a part of. Seeing my own growth in this is something I am proud of as well. I started out playing meditations online to writing and leading meditations on my own (this was a scary leap for me).  Now that I have shared the growth of my seeds with you, it is time to jump in to the May full moon on May 5th, 2023 and what it has in store for you.

TheMay Full Moon is known by many names. The most common May Full Moon names are:

  • Flower Moon
  • Hare Moon
  • Budding Moon
  • Milk Moon

The Flower moon is a time of renewal and growth. The Earth has awaken and is full of energy. This is a time of new beginnings. This is the season of planting the seeds of new ideas and setting intentions.

Follow the spirit of the season, just as the flower buds begin to bloom so should you. When you catch yourself looking around at the beauty of the season remind yourself of the beauty in your life. We are all connected to Earth and each other, this is why we embrace what the season brings up in our lives. Gratitude for the good in your life is important in every season. However, this Flower moon has a powerful pull on love. It is known to both strengthen relationships and bring in new ones.  This  magical season of ideas and love create a space for you to nurture your own mind. Show love to the amazing mind and heart you hold and listen to what they want more of. Build new relationships with people that fill your heart and nurture them and spend time reconnecting to important people that you have been neglecting do to other responsibilities.

You are reminded during this May Flower Moon to create new beauty in your life. Bloom among the flowers and be proud of who you are. It is time to blossom in to your best self!

Journaling to the Flower Moon

What tiny seed inside my soul is ready to be planted and grow?

Make a gratitude list for the season.

What relationships do I need to nurture and grow?

Embrace the Flower Moon

Embracing the Flower Moon

The Flower Moon represents abundance, love, new beginnings and fun. This is a time to plan a fun activity and embrace your fun & sexy side. My women’s retreats are the perfect setting for this. I host them along the East Coast three times a year. The June Retreat can be found HERE and you can signup for November 2023 HERE. You can also plan an outing with your partner or some friends. Get out and have fun!

Another way to embrace the flower moon is to practice gratitude for the good in your life. I know it is hard at times to focus on the positive but spend a few minutes reflecting on what is good.

Get outdoors and enjoy the sun and beauty. Try planting flowers or starting a garden.

The crystal of choice this month for me is Tigers Eye. I went back and forth here because of the them of passion and love but for the work I do and the messages I try to send out to others this is where I kept being pulled. Tigers eye represents good luck. It can help you to stay positive and protects that energy. This can help you with planting those seeds in your soul with good intention, and protect the positive energy as you work through how to grow that seed.

I would like to end with a reminder. You are that one bright flower in the field standing tall. You owe it to yourself to step in to the light and shine if you ever want to blossom. You my friend are worthy.
